I am so ready for this summer! I can hardly contain myself. The excitement of new adventures and the thrills of a new romance enrapture me. I will be turning 32 this summer and this has been one of the best years of my life! I moved into my duplex this year and left apartment life behind, my daughter started cheer leading, I met an amazing guy, I got a new car. It’s been great! I’ve enjoyed having a garage for our cold Missouri winters as well as having a yard. I’ve planted two rose and two peony bushes as well well as started a vegetable garden. Planting thing relaxes me so much. I am so thankful I get to indulge in one of my biggest hobbies now — gardening.
Memorial day weekend is upon us and I fully plan on lounging at the pool all weekend and being lazy. John and I are going to eat dinner on a patio somewhere tonight. It will be nice.
I’m just so glad summer is finally here. I sound like Olaf. But seriously, our winter was brutal here this year and lasted extra long and spring was over within two weeks!! That’s just how it goes living in the middle of the country here in Missouri. The weather is always very odd. It could be 80 degrees one day and snowing the next. But our summers are always extremely hot.
I also plan on taking up tennis this summer to get in better shape and for fun. We are planning a cruise beginning of August. My boyfriend has never been on one, I’ve been on three and think they are really fun so I’m excited to share that experience with him!
This is a super sappy-happy post, but I’m just so excited I had to take a moment to express my happiness of the moment! I hope everyone has an awesome summer and finds new things to enjoy! You gotta enjoy the good times when the’re here.
