1 min readOct 17, 2019
This little girl has brightened my life for the last 10 years. I can’t imagine life without her. I love her so much. She will be 10 this November. 10! Where did the time go? Looking back over the last 10 years, here’s a few things I’ve learned and some things I’ve been reminded of.
- My heart is capable of more love than I realized.
- Try and see the good in everyone
- always take time to laugh
- don’t take life too seriously
- playtime is important for stress management
- hugs are healing, so are snuggles
- animals can bring us joy
- Sorry goes a long way. A real I’m sorry with not buts behind it.
- we all need to feel loved and appreciated
- be patient with toddlers
- family time is important
- experiences are more valuable than material things
- I mean the world to her
- always be kind to others
- making people laugh is a great gift you can give to others
- stand with someone in their grief
- always be polite to strangers
- you can say no and still be kind
- stand up for yourself
- be brave, even when it’s hard or scary
